Greetings in the Matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

My sister-in-law, Jan and I just returned from Kenya.  My good friend Quint McCoy was there while we were as well.  What a rewarding trip!  Jan’s church and a church in a neighboring town gave almost $1600 for Bibles!  Others gave over $550 for food for those suffering from the famine.  Then when I got home there was another check for $100 for food which worked out very well because pastor Obed will be going out to evangelize the Massai people in a different area than we were in.  So I will send the money to him to take to purchase food for those he ministers to.

                      

I was able to teach about 40 pastors in Murang’a on Expository Preaching.  Then I taught on Expository Preaching in Karatina to about a dozen pastors and over 30 other laypeople.  On Sunday I preached on being prepared for the future.

 

I taught on “Spiritual Disciplines” By Donald S. Whitney in four different churches.  Plus I had over 80 youth and 10 pastors in Maralal for “Spiritual Disciplines.  Then I finished that meeting by talking to the pastors about their relationship with their wife from Ephesians 5.

 

Jan had the opportunity to teach women in 6 different places and had a meeting with college kids in one place.

 

As always, I want to thank each and every one of you who supports ZMI.  It is truly exciting to watch God at work in His world and a blessing to be able to obey His great commission.
