Venezuela
Brandon Frantz and I went to Venezuela in January 2011. What a rewarding trip! We arrived at our hotel at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning 1-16-11. Sunday we flew from Caracas to Maracaibo where we had a wonderful Venezuelan meal and good fellowship with the pastor and his family.

It was an exploratory trip and the Lord prepared me ahead of time for the fact that we
wouldn’t be doing much work. For those of you who know me, you know I don’t deal very
well with that. But I actually got to do more than I anticipated. I got to preach one night.

Tuesday evening we went to church at Pastor Rafael’s church. They had a song service, then
Brandon and I told about our conversions and how we are currently serving the Lord. After
that they had a prayer meeting.

Thursday morning Brandon woke up sick. He spent almost the entire day in bed. Thankfully
I had plenty of Cipro with me so by Friday morning he was doing much better. During the day Pastor Rafael said he and the people were well pleased with the message and the people wanted me to continue, but we were out of time. That evening Pastor Rafael and I went with a few others from his church to another slum area of the city to show the film we had shown on Monday. There were probably a few more in attendance than we had in the Monday night meeting.

We headed home on Saturday the 22nd.

India
This was my fourth trip to India and I believe the most productive. Please pray that if the Lord wants me to go back He will open the door for that to happen.

Kazahkstan
Our state association partnered with Kazahkstan for 4 years and we were able to be part of the first evangelism team and last medical team. The work consisted of evangelism in several villages and an eye clinic in Taldikorgan. We are still in contact with the believers there and hope to arrange another trip in the future.

Romania
We have been working in Romania since November of 1994. The first three times we went to Romania we were led by Bro. Jesse Powers. There are multitudes of opportunities to serve the Lord there. We do evangelism in homes, the churches and even on the streets at times. We go to the churches to encourage the believers. We work with a Christian Kindergarten and homes for Street Children and Orphans. We have also done some Leadership Training in the south part of the country.

Mexico
This was my first trip to Mexico , but hopefully not the last. It was a very good trip. We worked on the building of Filadelfia Baptist Church . I got to preach on Sunday evening to a full house & we had 2 people saved. I’m working on the details of going back to preach a revival meeting at Fliadelfia this fall or winter.
